About the Author
Eleanor Dougherty has taught in elementary, secondary and college institutions. In 1991 she joined the U.S. Department of Educationfs Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) as program officer developing national standards.
Kari Cornell is the editor of For the Love of Knitting, Knitting Yarns and Spinning Tales, Around the Quilt Frame," and Hooked: A Crocheter's Stash of Wit and Wisdom," all published by Voyageur Press. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two sons, and beagle. She has been a knitter for the past five years.
Still living in that drafty farmhouse on the coast of Maine, Clara Parkes achieves her yarnirvana by writing about yarn for "Knitter's Review."
